Second NIAC Workshop on Urban Science & Engineering
About the Workshop
Cities are complex systems that result from the interaction of human beings with workplace, commerce, transportation, and other entities. Advances in computing, communications, and sensor technologies offer the possibility of dramatically advancing our understanding of the behavior of cities, as well as fuel hopes that such knowledge can help enhance a city’s efficiency, sustainability, resiliency, and livability.
The Second NIAC Workshop on Urban Science & Engineering will be held at the University of Washington's Center for Urban Horticulture on February 2-3, 2016.
