NIAC Workshop on Analytics and Security for Cyber Physical Systems

About the Workshop

One of the major goals of the Northwest Institute for Advanced Computing (NIAC) is to develop partnerships between the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, the University of Washington, and other Northwest entities that address major projects of mutual interest. This workshop builds on earlier workshops held in October 2013, March 2014, February 2015 and May 2017. All of these workshops have focused on urban science & engineering. The May 2017 event, focusing on Smart Mobility/Transportation, will lead into the June workshop. The Analysis and Security of Cyber Physical Systems has emerged as a critically important field of national importance. The workshop will feature Voices from the Front Lines, a viewpoint from cyber security professionals as well as sessions on Contemporary Research, Cyber Analytics, and Work Force Development/Training. This event will specifically engage organizations that can participate in discussion with the hope of building future partnerships that will then seek research funding. NIAC is a joint institute of Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and the University of Washington.

The NIAC Workshop on Analytics and Security for Cyber Physical Systems will be held at the University of Washington's Center for Urban Horticulture on June 19-20, 2017.
